Calf Augmentation Surgery

The Operation

The operation takes approximately 1 hour and is performed under general anaesthetic with you lying on your front.  The incision is very discreet as it is made along the crease line behind your knee; a pocket is formed below the existing muscle to enable the implant to be inserted.

    Risks

All surgical procedures carry certain risks and there are limitations of what can be achieved. These will have been discussed prior to surgery with the surgeon as this is the best way to gain a clear insight into the procedure and allow you to make an informed decision about your surgery.
