Cheek / Chin Implants

This procedure helps to strengthen a persons profile by giving them a strong defined jaw line or cheek bones. Implants fill out the face that appears tired or sunken, leaving a more youthful look.

The Operation

The procedure takes 30 minutes to 1 hour and is carried out under local anaesthetic. The scars are discreet as they are inside the mouth. A small pocket is formed so the implant can be inserted, the incisions are then closed with dissolvable sutures.

The incision lines are very discreet as they are made along the crease line behind the ear to expose the cartilage. This is reshaped or on occasions a small amount is removed. The sutures used are dissolvable.
