Experience

Mr Iqbal acquired his first medical qualification in 1987. His career in Plastic Surgery started in 1993; he gained his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in 2004 and became a Consultant in 2005. Although he has performed a wide variety of procedures, his special interests include reconstructive and cosmetic procedures such as Breast Reconstruction, hand surgery, ear reconstruction and surgery for facial reanimation.

He has also completed accredited training programmes in the UK along with fellowships in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, aesthetic and cosmetic surgery.

Mr Iqbal is a member of British Association Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), British Society for Surgery of Hand (BSSH) and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians Glasgow.
