Dr Aziz commenced his career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1986 and became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1988. Dr Aziz obtained his Doctorate Degree in reproductive medicine from the University of Liverpool in 1999.
As a surgeon, Dr Aziz has a wide experience in vaginal surgery.
As a specialist in reproductive medicine Dr Aziz has a wide experience in the diagnosis and the treatment of female and male infertility, period problems (Menstrual disorders), and the polycystic ovarian syndrome.
He advises on different aspects of hormone replacement therapy.
He is also involved in the training and teaching of trainee doctors and in updating NHS guidelines for doctors practising gynaecology including The Map of Medicine and The NHS Knowledge Base.
Dr Aziz published in excess of 80 peer reviewed papers, abstracts and book chapters. He has an active research program in infertility and menstrual disorders in collaboration with the University of Liverpool (UK), the University of Birmingham (UK), and The Cleveland Clinic OHIO (USA).
