As well as the signs of premature ageing, skin peels are used to treat problems such as acne, sun damage, scarring, pigmentation and blemishing. Do Chemical Peels Hurt? In general, this is a fairly straightforward procedure with minimal pain and discomfort. The peel solution may cause your face to swell as well as triggering a slight burning and stinging sensation.
